An Unconventional Journey to My True Calling
My path to physical therapy wasn't traditional, but looking back, it feels perfectly destined.
I started wanting to be a veterinarian—I've always loved animals. But when my grandfather had a stroke during my 8th grade year, a PT at his rehab facility planted a seed I didn't know would grow. After my father pushed me toward medical school and then pulled his support just before graduation, I found myself with a Biochemistry degree wondering what's next.
That's when it clicked: physical therapy was the perfect fit for all my pre-med coursework and, more importantly, my heart.
What Drives Me
What I love most isn't just helping people heal—it's witnessing that magical moment when someone rediscovers what their body can do. The excitement when they accomplish something they thought impossible. The joy when they can plan family outings again. That confident glow when they realize who they truly are and what they're capable of.
My Approach: Beyond Traditional PT
I combine classical physical therapy training with a holistic perspective, drawing from my background in CrossFit, powerlifting, yoga, mindfulness training, and shamanic healing practices. I assess everything—your lifestyle, mindset, and relationship with your body.
My core belief: The power is in choosing how we think.
After injury or illness, sedentary recovery time creates dysfunction in our relationship with our bodies. We start believing "I'm always tired" or "I always hurt" when often, we're just not moving enough.
My focus is simple: get you moving again. Because you have to act like the person you want to be in order to become that person
Why This Matters
The human body performs miracles in healing and growth. I'm passionate about guiding you back to health because with health comes happiness and joy. I'm always telling my clients: we are more capable, and our bodies can do more than we think.
When you're ready to rediscover what your body can do and reclaim the life you love, I'm here—not just as your physical therapist, but as someone who becomes part of your family during your healing journey.
